PR Taster Kit

If you don’t know if an ongoing PR programme is for you, then why not try one of our PR Taster Kits? With this package, you will find out how you can use PR to reach your prospective customers by committing to multiple PR activities.

What you get...

Training

The equivalent of a full day’s training, (usual cost of £520), this combination of three of our training courses offers you a vital insight into how the PR discipline operates and how you can get the most value for your hard earned cash. You can run the three sessions individually or on the same day, for a maximum of 10 people (per session) at your company.

For more information on the three training sessions offered (below), please see the PR seminars and training page.

·         What is PR & Marketing and why do it?

·         PR basics

·         Making the most of the media

Please note: You are required to provide an appropriate venue for the training.

PR aims and objectives

We will meet with you to discuss your business objectives and develop your aims and objectives for your PR Taster media work. This discussion will also include how we would like to measure and evaluate the project’s success.

Target media identification: which publications do you need to get your name in?

Once we have agreed your aims and objectives, we will develop media lists with media profiles and contact details and agree the key media to be approached, in preparation for the PR work ahead.

Finding and placing the stories

A vital part of any PR work is finding a good story to pitch to the media. We will advise you – honestly - of what will make a good story. If there isn’t a publishable story, we won’t take your money. For PR to work cost effectively there has to be something an editor will want to print.

When we’ve found a selection of good angles, we’ll work up some appropriate pitches for use with the media. And then begins the fun...

As part of this PR Taster Kit package we will then complete the following:
1.      We’ll write one media release, distribute it and follow it up to endeavour to achieve maximum coverage.
2.      We will organise one media meeting or visit.

3.      We will approach appropriate media in order to secure one feature, career or opinion article as well as write the copy and obtain the appropriate approvals.

Evaluation: how successful was the project?

Once we have completed the elements above, with your help, we will evaluate how successful the project has been and let you make your own mind up about the value of PR.

Costs

If you purchased these PR elements separately, the total cost would be £1650, however, as part of the PR Taster Kit package the cost is only £1300, saving £350.
